The Doll House is the realization of a long-held dream shared by author K.C. Mead-Brewer and artist Evan Mead-Brewer.
Founded during a time of unique turmoil for the U.S.—a time wherein many seek to silence the voices of trans artists, Palestinian artists, Black artists, Latinx artists, disabled artists, and so many others—The Doll House is dedicated to being a space of safety and creative freedom for all.
All artists need time and space for artistic play, and The Doll House aims to be precisely that: a place where artists can relax into the full uncanniness of the creative life. A place where artists may be briefly sequestered from some of the harsher parts of our reality even as their art reckons with said reality head-on.
